We believe in FULL transparency. This is a NONPROFIT. All of us are unpaid volunteeRS.

Our process

We put together a team of dedicated and trusted volunteers to do one of three things:

 1. Buy second hand iPads with the funds we receive from our Go Fund Me page. 

 2. Sign up as an address of where people can ship their second hand iPads. 

 3. Work with the volunteers from (1) and (2) above to distribute these iPads to hospitals through our contacts at hospitals and health centers all across New York. 

Our timeline - What We've Accomplished so far

On April 1st: Liz posted to Facebook (left) asking for iPad donations

On April 2st: Liz, Laura and Zina came together to create Jeannie’s Fund to help

On April 3rd: We launched Jeannie’s Fund website and Go Fund Me page so that people who are at home can help isolated patients affected by COVID-19.

On April 4th: We bought our first set of secondhand iPads to be delivered this week. We also compiled our first set of hospitals, that have expressed need for these devices, to donate to. 

On April 5th: We surpassed our first goal of 10,000 USD and have now reached over 15,000 USD. We are so thankful for the generosity of more than 175 kind donors.
